Stacey Marquez’s journey to becoming an attorney is one shaped by passion, perseverance, and a deep sense of purpose. Growing up in Palm Beach County as the daughter of hardworking Hispanic parents, Stacey learned early on that success doesn’t come easily, but it’s always worth striving for. She vividly remembers watching a movie about a strong, confident female attorney striding into a big law firm in New York City. The image stuck with her, and it became her vision of what she wanted to achieve. From that moment on, she set her sights on the law, determined to be that empowered woman in the workplace.

Stacey’s legal career began right out of high school when she started as a legal assistant, eventually working her way up to a paralegal. While she was gaining invaluable experience, she knew that to truly fulfill her ambitions, she would need to become an attorney. So, Stacey made the decision to pursue a law degree. She attended Florida Atlantic University for her undergraduate studies and later earned her law degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law—both institutions close to home, allowing her to maintain her work commitments while continuing her education.

Stacey’s journey hasn’t been without its challenges. As a single mom with no support from her son’s father, she has faced many hurdles. But these challenges became the driving force behind her determination. Her son was—and continues to be—her inspiration, motivating her to push forward when the road felt overwhelming. It was this experience, combined with her legal background, that led Stacey to find her true calling in family law. She developed a deep passion for helping women navigate the difficult and emotional transitions of life, particularly those going from “we” to “me” or becoming single mothers. She understands firsthand the struggles that come with such life changes and feels a personal commitment to empowering women through these tough times.

Stacey’s desire to make a difference in the lives of women led her to open her own law firm, where she could bring her unique perspective and experience to the table. She founded her practice on the core principles of honesty, integrity, and competency—values that she believes are essential in building trust and delivering exceptional service to her clients. Stacey’s firm is dedicated to providing every client with close personal attention and professional guidance. She and her team work tirelessly to ensure that clients feel heard, supported, and confident in the legal process.
